I care about fostering collective intelligence, joy, embodied ethics, connection, playfulness, and organic alignment

CURRENTLY
Connecting Intelligence & Presence Games
I deeply care about technology that is beneficial and beautiful, and I believe you cannot build technology that genuinely supports human agency and connection without embodying those qualities in how you organize, collaborate, and create together.
I co-created Presence Games with my dear friend Joseph Ronicke in 2022, and it's evolved ever since. PG is a meta-game or facilitation framework designed for participants to create games together—essentially to feel aliveness and safety.
These games are social architectures or social operating systems that co-evolve with the needs, wants, NOs and YESes of the participants. In a way, the software constantly updates itself to the hardware. This can feel quite magical, because beliefs about 'I can't show up' or 'I'm not allowed to bring what I need' begin to shift.
For me, there's beauty and agency in creating social games together—joy, deep listening to individuals, and attuning to the collective body and social field. (This may sound abstract but becomes very feelable and real in participating, I promise :))
RECENT PROJECTS
Presence Games Workshop in a Tibetan Monastery, Bhutan
Working with young monks exploring their needs, wants, boundaries, and aliveness. Part of a broader Dharma Design Lab with the intention of the Rinpoche to evolve practices and use of technology in the context of Buddhist teachings.
Vision of the Future Hackathon, Leipzig
Inviting participants to speak, think, listen, and co-create pictures, visions, and dreams for a future participants are excited for. In cooperation with Banu Kellner and the Super Human Society.
ABOUT ME
My background includes physics (soft matter biophysics with Jörg Schnauß and Josef Käs at Leipzig University), years of study with Thomas Hübl on collective trauma, and Tibetan meditation practice with Dustin DiPerna. These contemplative practices deeply shape how I approach complexity, uncertainty, and collective intelligence.
When I'm not facilitating, you'll find me playing tennis, jamming music with friends, doing woodwork (building and designing new furniture), going on long walks, or playing live music. I played on an album, Space in Between, of my wonderful partner Wiebke that we released on Jan 25. We also have a duo called Imbue where we make neo-soul music together.
